Kedarnath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the state of Uttarakhand in northern India. It is one of the four sacred shrines in the Chota Char Dham Yatra circuit and is situated at an altitude of 3,583 meters (11,755 feet) above sea level.

About the event
Day 1: Transfer from Haridwar to Guptakashi / Sitapur (205 Km / 7 to 8 Hours)
Arrive at Haridwar. Meet our representative & start your journey towards Guptakashi. On arrival check-in at hotel. Rest for some time & explore Guptkashi town. Guptkashi is known for its temples and holy sites. Visit the Vishwanath and Ardhnareshwar temple.

Day 2: Guptkashi / Sitapur – Kedarnath (30 Km + 20 Km trek)
Today early morning, get ready for the exciting trek. After briefing about the terrain start trek to Kedarnath. You can hire a Doli or a horse (at your own cost). The trek passes through picturesque meadows, and scenic views of snow-capped mountains. The trail is well-defined and marked, and there are several rests stops along the way for trekkers to rest and refresh.
It is important to note that the Kedarnath trek is considered to be challenging and is not suitable for inexperienced trekkers.

Day 3: Kedarnath – Guptkashi / Sitapur (20 Km trek +55 Km drive)
Today you are to be taken to attend the 'Abhishek' to Kedarnath. The ceremony starts at 4:45, so you have to be in the temple before that. After the puja enter the Garbha Griha open for pilgrims. After darshan and puja, come out of the temple and return to the Camp. After breakfast, start the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag

Day 4: Guptkashi / Sitapur – Haridwar (165 Km / 6 to 7 Hours)
After morning breakfast, Start driving to Haridwar. Haridwar is considered a holy place in India, particularly for Hindus. It is located in the state of Uttarakhand, at the foothills of the Himalayas, on the banks of the river Ganges. Haridwar is also home to many ashrams and temples.

Day 5: Haridwar / Rishikesh
After morning breakfast, start your journey towards your destination.

8. Travel / Health Insurance
9. Any kind of emergency evacuation charges.
10. Any early return travel costs or accommodation except for the days as per the itinerary.
11. Hot water for bathing/washing or any other purpose except drinking.
12. Anything not specifically mentioned under the head.
NOTE:
1. Mountain Hikers expect to carry your personal luggage on your own.
2. If you want to offload your luggage, you can give it to the Mules.
3. Offloading Charges of Mules: (As per union rates)
4. Backpack weight should not be more than 10 kg.
5. Carry waterproof cover for your bag packs.
6. Trolley / Strolleys / Suitcase bags are not allowed.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
In case you wish to cancel your trek please email us at hikers.mountain@gmail.com & contact our respective representative.
1. 50% refund if cancellation is made more than 30 days and less than 45 days prior to the departure date of the event.
2. 25% refund if cancellation is made more than 20 days and less than 30 days prior to the departure date of the event.
3. NO refund will be made if cancellation is made within 20 days prior to the departure date of the event.
4. In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.) of Mountain Hikers, no refund shall be payable.
Cancellation charges are based on the total trek fee, irrespective of the amount paid either full or partial.
