About the event
Day 1: ARRIVE SANKRI
Start your journey from Dehradun, which is well connected by road, rail, and air to major cities in India. Drive from Dehradun to Sankri, a small village that serves as the base camp for the trek. The drive takes approximately 8-10 hours, covering a distance of around 200-220 kilometers.Â

Day 2: SANKRI TO TALUKA BY ROAD (10 KM) TO PAUNI GARAT (12 KM TREK)Â
After breakfast in Sankri, drive to Taluka (around 12 km), which is the starting point of your trek. Trek begins in the village of Taluka, which is the gateway to the Har Ki Dun valley. This is a gradual ascent through lush forests and along the Supin River. You'll pass through charming villages, terraced fields, and beautiful landscapes.

Day 3: PAUNI GARAT TO KALKATIDHAR
After breakfast, you'll head towards Kalkatidhar. The trail involves a gradual ascent through dense forests and meadows. The path may be less defined than the main Har Ki Dun trail. Spend time exploring Kalkatidhar and its surroundings. The meadows and the views from this location are rewarding, and you can enjoy the tranquility of the Himalayan wilderness.

Day 4: KALKATIDHAR TO HAR KI DUN & BACK TO KALKATIDHAR
After early breakfast, Begin your trek from Kalkatidhar, which is known for its serene meadows and relatively offbeat trails. Trek route involves descending to the valley and then ascending to Har Ki Dun. As you ascend to Har Ki Dun, you'll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lush landscapes. After enjoying Har Ki Dun, you'll begin your return journey to Kalkatidhar.

Day 5: KALKATIDHAR TO PAUNI GARAT
After Morning breakfast, Start the trek towards Pauni Garat. This route allows you to explore the Kalkatidhar meadows and then descend to Pauni Garat. The trek route involves hiking down from the meadows and making your way through the forested trail.

Day 6: PAUNI GARAT TO SANKRI VIA TALUKA
After breakfast, we begin our descent to Taluka retracing the same path we came through. Upon reaching the campsite, the rest of the day is spent at leisure.

Day 7: SANKRI TO DEHRADUN
After breakfast, start your journey towards Dehradun. The drive takes approximately 8-10 hours, covering a distance of around 200-220 kilometers.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
In case you wish to cancel your trek please email us at hikers.mountain@gmail.com & contact our respective representative.
1. 50% refund if cancellation is made more than 30 days and less than 45 days prior  to the departure date of the event.
2. 25% refund if cancellation is made more than 20 days and less than 30 days prior  to the departure date of the event.
3. NO refund will be made if cancellation is made within 20 days prior to the  departure date of the event.
4. In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural  calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.) of Mountain  Hikers, no refund shall be payable.
Cancellation charges are based on the total trek fee, irrespective of the amount paid either full or partial.
