Chandrakhani Pass Trek

Nestled in the heart of the majestic Himalayas, the Chanderkhani Pass Trek offers an enchanting escape into nature’s most serene landscapes. This journey is a harmonious blend of adventure and tranquility, where every step unfolds a new panorama of beauty. From whispering pine forests to vast alpine meadows and snow-kissed mountain ranges, the trek creates a truly immersive experience for both first-time trekkers and seasoned nature lovers. The trail begins from the charming village of Naggar, a place steeped in culture and old-world Himalayan charm. As you move ahead, the path gently winds through dense deodar and pine forests, opening occasionally to sweeping views of the Kullu Valley below. The air grows fresher, the surroundings quieter, and the rhythm of nature more pronounced with every passing step. As the journey progresses, the landscape transforms into expansive meadows dotted with wildflowers and surrounded by towering peaks.

These serene highlands provide the perfect setting to pause, breathe, and absorb the untouched beauty of the mountains. The gradual ascent ensures comfortable acclimatization, making the trek ideal even for beginners. The most captivating moment of the trek unfolds on reaching the Chanderkhani Pass at an altitude of 3,660 meters. Here, you are greeted with awe-inspiring panoramic views of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges stretching endlessly across the horizon. The sight of snow-covered peaks glowing under the open sky creates a sense of accomplishment and deep connection with nature.

Camping throughout the trek adds to the experience, with peaceful nights spent under a blanket of stars and mornings welcomed by golden sunrises over the mountains. The silence of the wilderness, broken only by the gentle rustle of wind and distant bird calls, brings a rare sense of calm and clarity. The descent is equally mesmerizing, guiding you back through forests and meadows while offering a different perspective of the same stunning landscapes. Each step down carries memories of the journey—moments of wonder, stillness, and quiet joy.
